statement which contains more than one meaning.

Homonymy is a relation that holds between two
lexemes that have the same form but unrelated meanings. Homonyms are the words

Polysemy is the existence of several meanings
for a single word or phrase.

HapusPragmatics not only learn the meanings attached to morpheme , word , phrase or sentence that is used . We also studied the current context of a speech uttered . Pragmatics respect to time , place , who would utter , and to whom the speech is addressed.
whereas ambiguity is A word, phrase, or sentence is ambiguous if it has more than one meaning.
